New York – Secret Mission
I’m off to the Big Apple this week on a secret mission for an exciting product and concept. It’s gonna be a manic time and I’m hoping to get some time to explore a bit and maybe even take a look at what’s happening down on Wall Street! I’ll report on all when I get back!

RAF Waddington
It’s been a busy few weeks with “Austin Paparazzi” in Bournemouth snapping away at Nick & Heidi’s joint 30th birthday party and strutting my Mojo as part of The Chippendoubles at Potter’s Leisure Resort at Hopton on Sea as well as many other events. Today it’s off to RAF Waddington (not adversity but we are going to the stars baby!)in Lincoln for the base’s family day Fake Festival featuring tribute bands for Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Really Hot Chilli Peppers), U2 (New 2) and Blondie (Blondied)! A totally fab and groovy time is guaranteed for all!

Boston Fake Festival 2011
Once I’ve recovered from the Happening with Cmed (see below) it’s gonna be time to jump in the Shaguar and strut my Mojo at Boston Fake Festival in Central Park on Saturday. It’s gonna be shagadelic baby, with tribute bands to the Kings of Leon (Kings of Lyon), Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Really Hot Chilli Peppers) and The Killers (The Fillers) plus a great line up of local bands None of a Kind, Absence Freud, Into the Flames, Careless Chemistry and S.I.R. – if there are any Fake Festivals happening in your area I really recommend going – they are such a groovy, awesome day & evening out, you’ll love it!
Clinical Drug Trials!
I’m off to The Gatwick Hilton for a totally swinging Happening with the people from the Cmed Group who run clinical drugs trials on behalf of pharma & biotech companies! You can imagine what a fab ‘Wing Ding’ that’s gonna be – I’ll have to put myself down for a few trials on the evening!

Off today to Otley Fake Festival at Wharf Meadows, Farnley Lane with tribute bands to The Wonder Stuff, Coldplay, Foo Fighters and U2 – also appearing are local bands Until Friday, Test Tone 3, Bang Bang Romeo and Simple Abhoration so if you’re there today leave me a comment on how totally groovy your day was!

Miss Sunderland 2011
This Austin Powers impersonator will be appearing as part of The Chippendoubles at the Rainton Meadows Arena, Houghton-le-Spring on Friday, May 20th for the Miss Sunderland 2011 final and is looking forward to a totally shagadelic evening! Also appearing are “The Reason 4″ who were on X Factor last year and who are currently supporting Peter Andre on tour who will be perfoming their new single and material from their album, along with the Steve Walls Swing Band and there are more suprises to be confirmed. There will also be the final for “Mr North East” sponsored by designer Patrick Joseph – unfortunately I was barred from entering being such a “International” sexy beast!

Selby Fake Festival
Had a totally ‘Shagadelic day out’ at Selby Fake Festival on May 7th moving and grooving around with Chubby Brown lookalike Paul Williams and Harry Hill lookalike Matt Durkin. There was great live music from local bands Vinnie & The Stars, Dirty Rogues, Solitude, Rhodes and Psychobabylon and of course the evening really kicked off with the main tribute acts ‘Antarctic Monkeys’, ‘Coldpace’ and Kings of Lyon – our sex was really on fire baby! Next stop, the Brough Fake Festival at the Blackburn Leisure Club field on May 14th where the tribute bands will be ‘The Stereotonics’, ‘The Four Fighters’ and ‘Really Hot Chilli Peppers’ so if you’re heading that way come over and scream ‘You are a sexy beast!’.

I belonged to Glasgow – briefly
Have just returned from a totally swinging 50th birthday party at the Urban Brasserie at St Vincent’s Place, Glasgow organised by Elle Gordon of Angelfish. Everyone was in fancy dress, the drink was flowing and The Soul Kings of Edinburgh were an outstanding and very funky live performance band. Amongst the guests were 2 Austin’s (me from 10 minutes ago and me 10 minutes from now, Dr Evil and Felicity Shagwell as well as Hamish in an authentic East German military uniform – yay comrades, finally those capitalist pigs have paid for their crimes! Having MacGregor blood running through these veins it’s always great to get a chance of performing in Scotland. Now it’s time to recover – ‘and I’m spent!’
